Riesling/Gewurztraminer

Foris
Rogue Valley, Oregon $28/$7
Made with 100% Gewürztraminer grapes. Citrus blossom, gardenia and rose blossoms intermingle to create a heady floral perfume. Very rich and viscous, yet restrained by moderate acidity, the flavors are reminiscent of white peach, pink grapefruit and a trace of ginger and vanilla spice. 1100 cases produced.

Pewsey Vale
Individual Vineyard Selection

Eden Valley, Australia $28/$7
Lovely acidity is this Riesling’s hallmark; it’s round but crisp in the mouth. Offers lovely lemon, lime & white pepper flavors in the mouth & smells just as it tastes. Finishes with some length & a chalky feel.

Willamette Valley Vineyards
Oregon $28/$7
This is a semi-sweet, medium bodied, Germanic styled wine. Vibrant aromas of peach, pear, citrus & honeysuckle flowers. Explosive flavors of star fruit & steely apple give a sweet-tart balance. Clean & refreshing with a crisp finish.

Dr. Konstantin Frank
Finger Lakes, NY $34
This Johannesburg style Riesling is dry, with crisp acidity, layers of mango, citrus & pear blossoms in the Wine Selections at Bailiwicks Fine Restaurant | Wine & Martini Barnose. Apple & pear with a full-bodied taste along with minerality lingering on a fruity finish.

Eroica
Columbia Valley, Washington $44
This is more than a blend of two estates, Dr. Loosen from the Mosel and Chateau Ste. Michelle from the Columbia Valley. Delivers fresh mandarin orange and lime aromas and flavors with subtle mineral and slate notes. Rich, bold & fruit forward.

Anthony Robert Hammond
Sugar Babe

Germany $46
This Spatlese wine is the lightest of the late harvest wines. It is fleshy & intensely flavored. Quite rich, though fresh & round aromas, with touches of tropical fruits, herbs & spices are present. Very clean, classic varietal flavors & full-bodied.
